Back in the early 80's when I often visited their home, I recall Danny's Mom always asking him if he could do the many chores it required to manage their home. Danny would come come home from an all-night shift at Dunkin Donuts and seemingly with endless energy, chop wood, care for the dogs (my fave was Barney), and take care many other things. She was so grateful to have such a strong, reliable, and loving son. I recall Carole asking so politely. She always greeted me with a smile!!
