Victoria "Vicky" M. (Bonk) Bagley

Sidney, NY - Victoria M. (Vicky) Bagley, 71, of Sidney, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY, with her family by her side.

Vicky was born on December 20, 1953, in Little Falls, the daughter of the late Chester and Rosemary (Cunningham) Bonk. Vicky attended St. Mary’s Academy and graduated from Little Falls High School, the class of 1972.

Vicky was united in marriage to the love of her life and best friend, Randall E. “Randy” Bagley, in 1975, at St. Mary’s Church in Little Falls, New York. Vicki and Randy were delighted to have two sons, Chris and John. The couple shared a blessed union of 45 years until the passing of Randy on May 28, 2020.

Vicky was employed as a sales associate over the years at multiple retail establishments. She finished her employment at the former K Mart Department Store in Sidney, NY.

Vicky’s life centered around her loved ones. Around the holidays, she would enjoy baking everyone’s favorite treats to bring to the family celebrations. Vicky and Randy enjoyed traveling and visiting friends along the Atlantic Coast. Her passion was quilting. Vicki was an extremely talented seamstress. Over the years, she made beautiful quilts for as many of her large family as she could. She also donated quilts to charities in the Sidney area.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher Bagley of Sidney and Jonathan Bagley of Sidney; three sisters, Peggy Paparella and husband Donald of Little Falls, Mary Ladouceur of Little Falls, and Noreen Robbins of Selinsgrove, PA; a brother, Anthony Bonk of St. Johnsville; a brother-in-law, Ken Bagley and wife Lily of Texas, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  

In addition to being pre-deceased by her parents, she was pre-deceased by a sister, Joann Weiner and husband, Michael; and three brothers, Stanley, Michael, and Robert Bonk.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 3- 5 pm at the locally owned and family operated Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY. A prayer service will follow at 5:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, all memorial contributions may be made to the Macular Degeneration Association, 5969 Cattleridge Blvd., Suite 100, Sarasota, FL 34232. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
