Theresa C. (Campagna) Foss

Herkimer - Theresa C. Foss, 95, a lifelong Herkimer resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at her home with the love and support of her family by her side.

She was born on September 10, 1928, in Herkimer, the daughter of the late John B. and Rose (D'Arpino) Campagna and was a graduate of Herkimer High School.

Theresa was married to Fred G. Foss in 1951, in Herkimer. The couple shared a blessed union of 33 years until the passing of Fred in 1984.

For many years, Theresa was a teacher's aide for the Herkimer Central School District at the former Tuger School.

Mrs. Foss was a member of the Church of Sts. Anthony & Joseph in Herkimer. Theresa's life was centered around her loving family. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Theresa loved cooking for her family and enjoyed her traditional Sunday Dinners. Theresa and Fred met and fell in love at Caroga Lake. They looked forward to spending the summers with the family at their camp at Caroga Lake.

Survivors include her daughters, Concetta (Jetta) Timmerman of Boonville and Grace Blais and husband Rick of Mohawk; four grandchildren, Ricky Blais and Alicia Bernier, Cory Blais, Daniel Foss and Gabrielle Sementilli and Michael Rainone and wife Sandra; and several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her son Kevin Foss and wife Patricia, and a brother, Silvio Campagna.

In keeping with Theresa's wishes funeral services and burial at Calvary Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.

 The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Theresa's caregiver, Dawn for her care and compassion she shown Theresa and her family throughout the years.
