Steven Michael (Mike) Osley

Little Falls - Steven Michael “Mike” Osley, 70, of Little Falls, died February 21, 2021 at his home in Little Falls.

He was born September 10, 1950 in Little Falls, NY, the son of Stephen and Anna (Adamek) Osley and the grandson of Michael & Anna (Zeman) Adamek and Stefan & Alzbeta (Vdoviak) Osley.

His early youth was spent in Little Falls, NY, followed by a family move to Rochester. He was a graduate of James Madison High School ‘68 in Rochester, Monroe Community College ‘70 and SUNY Buffalo ‘72.

After an extended career in the restaurant/hospitality industry which took him to positions in Southern California, Moscow, and New York City, he returned in 2017 to make his home in Little Falls.

Survived by sisters, Michele O. Briscoe of Rochester and Lynn O. Rosen of Little Falls: nephews, Hall E. Downey of Rochester, John F. Billington with his wife Brianna and their children, Julia, Elise, John III and Corinne of White Hall, Maryland and Michael E. Rosen and his fiance Jonathan Rodriguez of Bloomfield Connecticut. He is also survived by many Gifford, Babuska and Osley cousins, including Martha Lee of Dolgeville, Robert Osley of Ft. Plain, and Anna Paracka of Little Falls.

Burial at Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 1-5 pm at the family home on Southern Ave., Little Falls. Arrangements have been pre-arranged under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the SUNY Poly Foundation, with a notation for the Zeman-Vdoviak Endowed Scholarship, and sent to the SUNY Poly Development Office, 100 Seymour Road, Utica, NY 13502.
