Town of Ohio – Stephen S. Domion, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 22, 2018 from complications of Diabetes.
He was born June 18, 1970 in Cooperstown, NY the son of Gail M. (Riley) Domion and Paul Domion. Stephen graduated from Mohawk High School, class of 1988 and furthered his educated at Herkimer County Community College.
Stephen had been employed at the former Union Fork & Hoe, Remington Arms and most recently the Adirondack League Club in the Town of Ohio, a position he really loved.
A man dedicated to his family, Stephen proved himself a loving and caring son, father and grandfather. He enjoyed nature and found much tranquility working and spending time in the Adirondacks.
He is survived by his mother, Gail M. Domion of Ilion; his father, Paul (Janet) Domion of Richfield Springs; his adored daughter, Meghan Pendolf of Utica, NY; his beloved grandson, X’avier Blanco of Utica, and a special aunt, Doris Rathbun of Mohawk and many friends.
He was pre-deceased by his half sister, Rebecca Treen, his maternal grandmother, paternal grandparents, and an uncle, Mal Rathbun.
In keeping with the wishes of Stephen’s family services will be private and held at their convenience. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany Street, Herkimer, NY.
