Stephanie J. Aames

Herkimer - Stephanie J. Aames, 54 of Herkimer, passed away on Monday June 3, 2019.

She was born February 28, 1965 in Troy, NY the daughter of Joan (Kirkpatrick) Bailey and the late David B. Mehnert. Stephanie was a graduate of Troy High School and furthered her education by receiving an Associate Degree as a Paralegal.

She was  employed as owner and operator of her own personal housekeeping service serving several local facilities. While she resided in Philadelphia she was employed as a Paralegal. Prior to that she did modeling in Europe.

Survivors include her mother, Joan Bailey of Clermont, Florida; two sisters, Stacey Muller and husband Manfred of Newburgh, NY and Lisa (Deon) Viana and husband Michael of Utica; a brother, David B.Mehnert, Jr. of Arizona; her nieces and nephews; Bridge Muller, Jeremy Muller and David B. Mehnert, III; two aunts, Sharon Snyder and Frances Larson; and several cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her maternal grandparents, Ed and Esther Kirkpatrick and her paternal grandparents, Frank B and Gwendolyn Mehnert.

In keeping with the wishes of Stephanie's family funeral services will be private and held at their convenience.  Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
