Little Falls – Sharon K. Esposito, 68, of Little Falls, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the St. Luke’s Home in the Town of New Hartford, NY.
She was born on November 5, 1955, in California the daughter of the late Burr and Julia Alter and was educated in Mayfield, NY schools.
Sharon's life was dedicated to her family and children, she was an amazing mother and grandmother. She took much pride in raising her grandson, Marcus and the apple of her eye, her great granddaughter, Mariana. She was so loving and caring of everyone. Sharon loved to travel, especially to Atlantic City and test her luck on the slot machines. In her leisure she loved tending to her flower gardens and knitting blanket.
Sharon always worked in health care, first at the nursing home then for the Lexington Center, working at the Keyser Lake home. A job she really enjoyed.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Jerri Lynn Smith of Little Falls; her sons, Monte Esposito and Mark Esposito and wife Amanda of Little Falls; her grandchildren, Marcus (whom she raised), Alexis, Kodie, Ethan, Devin, Hailey, Madison, Monte Jr., Bella, Anthony Kiersten and Teagan; her great granddaughter, Mariana (whom she raised) a nice, Mary Beth Hoage and her son Ryan; three sisters, Patricia, Brenda, and Melissa all of Texas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her brother, Marvin Alter.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY. A prayer service will follow at 1:00 pm. Spring burial will be at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, NY.
