St. Johnsville - Rosaline K. Drews, 84, a lifelong St. Johnsville resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born on August 27, 1941, in Little Falls, the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Stowell) Warner. Rosaline was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School.
On December 17, 1960, Rosaline was united in marriage to Hans Drews at the former St. Johnsville United Methodist Church.
For many years, Mrs. Drews was employed as Treasurer and Business Officer for the St. Johnsville Central School District. Additionally, she served alongside her husband as he pastored two churches in North Columbia and Columbia Center, where she pursued a special passion for children’s ministries, including Vacation Bible School, Youth Group and Children’s Church.
She was currently a member of the First Baptist Church in Little Falls, NY.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Rev. Hans Drews; a daughter, Angela Owens and husband Tom; a son, Hans W. Drews and wife Ruth; two grandchildren, Carl Gogol and wife Becky and Lukas Drews; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Miles and Catherine Bellen; and several nieces and nephews.
Rosaline was pre-deceased by an infant daughter, Crystal, her brother, William Warner, half-brother, Roy Johnson, Jr. and two brothers-in-law.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, 555 Albany St., Little Falls, NY. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the Church with Rev. Chris Wintermute officiating. Burial will follow at St. Johnsville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (next to the Masonic Lodge) 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY. In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. Envelopes will be available at the Church.
