Ronaldo Junior Benavides

Ilion - Ronaldo Junior Benavides, 20, of Ilion, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. At the time of his passing, he had his loving family by his side.

Ronaldo was born on December 4, 2002, in Nyack, NY the son of Ronaldo and Nilza (Torres) Benavides. He was a graduate of Central Valley Academy.

Ronaldo loved going to the movies, restaurants to eat, football and basketball games, hanging out with friends and spending time with family. He also loved playing and cuddling with his dog Cookie.

He is survived by his parents, Ronaldo and Nilza of Ilion: his siblings, Franklin and Isamar Benavides; his nieces and nephews Alexander and Soleidy Griffith, Summer Green and Noel Benavides. He is also survived by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday, December 23, 2022, from 2 - 4 pm at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY. A prayer service will follow at the conclusion of the visitation at 4:00 pm.
