Town of Danube - Ronald D. Senft, 72, of the Town of Danube, Little Falls, NY passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Friday, June 6, 2025.
He was born on July 11, 1952, in Little Falls, the son of the late Albert J. and Betty M. (LaValley) Senft. Ron was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, class of 1971.
For many years, Ron was owner and operator of the former Nowadaga Farms in the Town of Danube.
Ron loved riding his electric bike along the bike path. He was very smart and mechanically inclined. He liked working on any type of bikes and lawn mowers. Ron had many adventures throughout his life and met many interesting people in his travels. Ron enjoyed visiting with his friends and having a beer at his “famous office”. He was one of a kind person and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In his leisure, Ron was an avid reader, his favorites were any farm magazine, all types of history books and National Geographics.
Survivors include his daughter, Alice Congdon; a sister, Karen Thompson, two brothers, Gary Senft and wife Paulette and Kenneth Senft and wife Andra; nieces and nephews, David and Brian Senft, Nathan Thompson, Kara Lewis, Laura Liske, Dawn Burns, Michael Thompson, Sherry Arsenault, Donnie Young; and many great nieces and great nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, and a nephew, Richard Senft.
A graveside service at Indian Castle Cemetery, Town of Danube, NY will be private and held at the convenience of his family. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 5:00 pm at the home of Brian Senft, 355 Paradise Road, Little Falls, NY. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
