Roberta J. (Humphrey) Lasher

Herkimer - Roberta J. Lasher, 92, of Herkimer and formerly of Little Falls, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Little Falls Hospital with her loving family by her side.

 She was born on October 31, 1930, in Little Falls the daughter of the late Howard C. and Hazel E. (Deuel) Humphrey. Roberta was a graduate of Little Falls High School.

 Roberta was united in marriage to Leland W. Lasher in 1957, in Lee Center, NY. Mr. Lasher passed away on February 27, 1976.

 For many years, Roberta was employed at Little Falls Hospital in the Housekeeping Department.

 Roberta was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Her world was centered around her son and cherished granddaughter. Roberta enjoyed spending time at her home, tending to her yard.

 Survivors include her son, Leland W. Lasher of Herkimer; a granddaughter, Rebecca Lasher of Herkimer; step-son, James L. Lasher of Little Falls; three step-daughters, Eileen Warner of Little Falls, Melanie (Donald) Hart of Fort Plain and Merry Ellen Gaughan of Fort Plain; and many nieces and nephews.

 She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Ruth Humphrey, Joseph Humphrey, Gerald Humphrey, and Shirley Petkovsek.

 A graveside service will take place in the spring at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, NY. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
