Robert C. Weston

Ilion - Robert C. Weston, 67, a longtime Ilion resident, passed away peacefully from natural causes on Monday, December 5, 2022, at his home.

 He was born on April 24, 1955, in Herkimer the son of the late Walter A. and Joan (Boardman) Weston. Robert was a graduate of Frankfort High School and also received an associate degree in Automotive Technology from Herkimer County Community College.

 Robert was last employed in the Produce Department of the Herkimer Wal-Mart.

 Family was everything to Robert, he treasured the quality time he spent with his son, Kendall, and granddaughter. His favorite passion was music and enjoyed playing his vast collection of guitars. In his younger years, Robert was an avid motorcycle rider. In his leisure, he found much relaxation in cooking and watching classic movies.

 Survivors include his son, Jacob Weston and Kendall Grosse of Utica; his cherished granddaughter Emelia; two sisters, Tami Weston of Virginia and Faith McLeod of Ilion; and several nieces, Jenni Williams, Rachel Anderson, Tessa Brown and grandniece Angel Williams. Along with nephews, Joshua Weston, Adam Dibrango , Taylor Weston, and Michael Fisher.

 He was pre-deceased by a sister Elizabeth A. Weston on January 13, 2017, and a brother, Christopher Weston on September 12, 2021.

 In keeping with Robert's wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
