Robert W. Stone

Town of Schuyler - Robert W. Stone, 68, of the Town of Schuyler passed away unexpectedly on Sunday November 21, 2021 at his home.

Robert was born on August 18, 1953 to Robert N. and Carole K. Stone in Utica and attended Whitesboro schools.

After high school, he joined the United States Navy where he served for six years. This enabled him to travel to many places eventually landing in San Diego, California, a city that he loved, where he made lifelong friends and called home for many years.

Later in life, Robert furthered his education in the dental field and became a Dental Assistant Instructor at a local vocation school in Florida.  In 2008, he returned home to Utica to retire and be closer to his family.

He leaves a sister, Barbara J. Stone of Utica; his niece, Carole (William) Creller; a nephew, Robert (Amanda) Brandi, Jr.; along with great nieces and great nephews, and brother -in-law, Robert Brandi, Sr., all of Saginaw, MI.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, and a sister, Debra C. Brandi.

In keeping with Robert's wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
