Robert A. (Bobby) Borst

St. Johnsville - Robert A. (Bobby) Borst 53, a long time St. Johnsville resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY.

 He was on July 2, 1969, in Little Falls the son of Robert A. Borst and the late Annette (Pitucci) Borst. Bobby was a graduate of Little Falls High School, class of 1990.

 At one time He was employed at Kasson - Keller, Inc. in Fonda.

 Bobby was dedicated to his family, proving himself a loving and caring son, brother and uncle. He enjoyed visiting the local youth center where he was active in mentoring and coaching the children. Bobby was an avid Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs fan, attending every home game.  He has been a New York Yankees fan and the Pittsburgh Steelers fan since he was a young boy.

 Survivors include his father, Robert A. Borst of St. Johnsville; a sister, Sandra Cobian and husband, Jose of Amsterdam; a niece, Annette Diaz of Amsterdam; a great nephew, Fenley Slyvestre  and great niece, Anaé Slyvestre . Who he loved dearly! and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 A memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Grace Christian Church, Center St., St. Johnsville. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to the St. Johnsville Youth Center, 17 E. Main St., St. Johnsville, NY 13452. Envelopes will be available at the church. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
