Richard F. LaMont

Town of Little Falls - Richard F. LaMont, 75, of the Town of Little Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at his home.

He was born on August 20, 1949, in Gloversville, NY the son of the late George and Ellen (Borst) LaMont and was a graduate of Gloversville High School.

Survivors include his siblings, Carol Osgood, Sherman LaMont Sr, Albert LaMont, Peggy Cropanese (Frank), Robert LaMont (Malissa), Barbara LaMont, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers John LaMont, Clifford LaMont, Donald Suman and George LaMont. A special sister-in-law Donna LaMont also predeceased him.

He enjoyed watching wrestling and rooting for his favorite sports teams. The New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. He was a gentle soul who would do anything for anyone.

In keeping with Richard's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
