Richard Burroughs

Richard Burroughs, 57, of Herkimer, NY, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Daytona Beach Florida, on May 23, 2020.

Born on May 30, 1962, the son of the late Richard and Gail (Morse) Burroughs. Rick was a graduate of Herkimer High School in 1980 and a graduate of SUNY Delhi in 1982, with his degree in construction management.

Rick was always known for his athleticism, outgoing personality and his ability to always be the life of any party. His laugh and smile will be greatly missed by all that knew him. 

Rick leaves behind his son, Rick (Bethany) Burroughs and his two grandchildren, Eliana and Liam; his daughter, Danielle (Chris) Patrei; two brothers John and Danny, who both reside in Florida along with nephews and niece; Joshua, Justin, and Brittany. 

Rick is predeceased by his son, First Class Airman Jamie Burroughs, who he dearly missed.

In keeping with Rick’s wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Local arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
