Randy C. Acovangelo

St. Johnsville - Randy Craig Acovangelo, 63, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Saturday March 21, 2020, while he was a short term patient at St. Luke's Hospital, New Hartford, NY.

Randy was born on June 14, 1956 in Little Falls, NY to Miguel and Altana (Tennant) Acovangelo. He was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, class of 1974, where he did well in Business Management and Food Service.

Mr. Acovangelo was last employed at Helmont Mills in St. Johnsville, NY. Prior to that he worked at Universal Warehousing in Gloversville, NY.

Survivors include his son, Cory Acovangelo and his fiancé, Danae and their three children, Madison, Alexis and Ryland; his mother, Altana Swank of St. Johnsville; his brother, Ronald Acovangelo of St. Johnsville; a nephew, Jeremy Acovangelo and wife Lottie. He is also survived by his significant other, Lori Yerdon of St. Johnsville and numerous cousins.

In keeping with Randy's wishes funeral services and tradition burial at West St. Johnsville Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of his loved ones.

The family would like to extend s sincere thank you to the staff at St. Luke's Hospital, the ICU, the PCU and the third floor for giving us that extra time with Randy.
