Little Falls - Peggy (Pellerito) Vespi, 77, a life long Little Falls resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
She was born on August 7, 1948, in Little Falls, the daughter of the late John and Marie (Donnelly) Pellerito and received her education at St. Mary’s Academy.
On August 1,1992, she married her soulmate Robert (Bob) Vespi at Holy Family Parish in Little Falls. They cherished spending many winters with her sister’s family in Southern California. The couple shared a loving and blessed union of 21 years until the untimely passing of Robert on March 16, 2014.
Peggy was employed by the former Little Falls Evening Times as an advertising manager for over 30 years, and also worked as a Real Estate Agent for several years.
Peggy enjoyed reading, watching the NY Yankees, traveling, taking walks with her siblings, and especially visiting with them daily. She was most proud of her family and extended family, enjoying their times laughing, and adoring each and every one of them. She was also grateful for the many visits and gatherings with Dena and friends.
As a lifetime member of Holy Family Parish, she and Bob belonged to the church choir for many years, and also the Women’s Christian Association. They were also volunteers for the American Cancer Society.
Her life centered around her children and family. She leaves behind her loving daughters and spouses, Diana (Anthony) Visconti, and Lisa (Edward) Rovetto; her cherished grandchildren, Vinny (Jackie) Visconti, Nicky Visconti (fiancee Amber Zellwager), Anna Rovetto (fiance Ashby Petersen), Samantha Rovetto, and Alexa Rovetto; her stepchildren, Mike (JoMarie) Vespi, Bo (Tina) Vespi, and Desiree (Rob) Thomas; her stepgrandchildren, Brooke, Caleb, Nicholas, Adam, Ben, Jenna, Ryan and Liam and many great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her adored and dedicated sisters and brother: Kathleen (Herm) Schwasnick, Donna Reid, Gina (Gordie) Ackerman and John Jr. Pellerito, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Steve Reid and a sister-in-law, Trudy Pellerito.
