Peggy L. (Bussey) Tero

Herkimer - Peggy L. Tero, 74, of Herkimer, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Little Falls Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born on October 10, 1947, in the Town of Ohio, NY the daughter of the late Harvey and Elizabeth (Christman) Bussey and was educated in Poland Schools.

 Peggy was united in marriage to the late Norman Tero who preceded her in death on April 20, 2000.

 For many years, along with raising seven children, Peggy was also the secretary for the former Norm's Painting in Herkimer. Later in her life, Peggy worked at several various industries throughout the Mohawk Valley.

 In her leisure, Peggy enjoyed camping, doing puzzles and reading romantic novels.

 Survivors include her children, Brian Tero and wife Kelly of Herkimer, Melissa Tero of Herkimer, David Tero and wife Jackie of Mohawk, Steven Tero and wife Michele of Prescott, Arizona, Sharyn Conlin and husband Steve of Cleona, Pennsylvania, Ronald Tero and wife Kim of Herkimer and William Tero and wife Lori of Herkimer; her siblings, Barbara Dougherty and husband John, Sandra O'Connor-Seelman and husband Rich, Lisa Lehman, and Dennis Bussey and wife Faye; sisters-in-law, Margaret Bussey and Virginia (Tero) Stocking; many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her feline companion, Jade.

She was pre-deceased by her loving companion of 17 years, Rafael Feliciano on November 17, 2017, and her brother, Robert Bussey on December 8, 2006; in-laws, Mary (Tero) Forbes and husband Hubert, Ruth (Tero) St. Peter and husband Arnold and David Stocking.

 In keeping with Peggy's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 E.
