Mildred H. (Hauser) Koschara

Sloansville – Mildred H. Koschara, 89, of Sloansville, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at the St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born on July 22, 1933, in Poughkeepsie, NY the daughter of the late Chester and Mildred (Mackey) Hauser.  She was a graduate of Millbrook High School and also attended Cornell University.

Her marriage to E. Eugene Koschara took place on October 16, 1955, in Middle Island, NY.

For many years, Mildred was a veterinary assistant at the Pine Plains Veterinary Hospital in Pine Plains, NY.

Mildred has a very special love for all animals, especially dogs, rescuing many dogs throughout the years.  She raised and trained Irish Wolfhounds and Irish Terriers. Mildred was also a licensed Judge for the ACA Dog Shows.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Eugene and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In keeping with Mildred and Eugene’s wishes funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
