Melissa M. (Missy) Dibble

St. Johnsville – Melissa M. (Missy) Dibble, 47, a longtime resident of the St. Johnsville area, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at University Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

 She was born on January 4, 1975, in Little Falls the daughter of the late Wesley and Rosemarie (Muche) Dibble. Missy was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School and also earned her Associates Degree at Herkimer County Community College.

 For many years, Missy worked at the food center on the New York State Thruway service area in Little Falls.

 Missy was a loving and caring sister and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved to take a ride in her car and go visit with her friends. Missy had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially Gavin's canine companion, "Boomer".

 Survivors include her brother, Michael Dibble; her sister, Marion Walker, her loving nieces and nephews, Christopher Pierce, Danielle Walker, Marissa Walker, Gavin Dibble and Anna Dibble; and a great niece, Aurora Ryckman.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 2:00 pm until the time of the services at 3:30 pm at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY. A prayer service will follow at 3:30 pm. Burial will follow at West St. Johnsville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to the Ayers Animal Shelter, 133 Hilltop Road, Sprakers, NY 12166. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
