Mohawk - Mary Ann L. Francisco, 89, of Mohawk (Town of German Flatts), passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at home with her loving family by her side.
She was born on August 10, 1936, in St. Johnsville, the daughter of the late Dominick and Viola (Nobili) Peruzzi. Mary Ann was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, Class of 1954. She furthered her education and graduated from the Utica Business School.
Mary Ann was united in marriage to Richard Francisco in 1959, at the former St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in St. Johnsville, NY.
Mrs. Francisco was employed as a Senior Court Clerk for the United States District Courts in Utica, NY.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Richard (Dick); three sons, Richard M. (Gloria) Francisco, Rodney J. (Donna) Francisco, and Scott D. (Stacey) Francisco; eight grandchildren, David, Nicholas, Brianna, Brandon, Andrea, Andrew, Joseph and Richard B.; a great grandchild, Evelyn; two sisters, Joyce Pollitt and Bonnie (Stephanie) Peruzzi; two brothers, Robert (Dawn) Peruzzi and Ron Peruzzi; and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Barbara Peruzzi and Elizabeth Peruzzi.
In keeping with Mary Ann’s wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (Next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
The family would like to thank the staff at U.S. Renal Care and FoltsBrook Home in Herkimer for their fine service to Mary Ann and also to the caregivers of Hospice CNY for their care and compassion.
