Mark Damin

Johnstown - Mark Damin, 74, of Johnstown, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Monday, May 11, 2026.

He was born on September 23, 1951, in Amsterdam, NY, the son of the late Peter and June (Reed) Damin. Mark was a graduate of Oppenheim - Ephratah Central School and Cobleskill College.

Mark started his working career at Widanka’s John Deere and then at General Electric in Schenectady, NY for many years.

Survivors include his brothers, Alan (Karen) Damin, and Glen (Mary) Damin; sister, Lisa (Robert) Harvey; nephews, Jason, Peter, Adam, Andrew and Tyler; nieces, Betty and Kathleen; four great nephews and two great nieces.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the locally owned and family operated Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (next to the Masonic Lodge) 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY. A prayer service will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Union Rural Cemetery in Mayfield, NY. In lieu of flowers, all memorial contributions may be made to Ayers Memorial Animal Shelter, 133 Hilltop Road, Sprakers, NY 12166. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
