St. Johnsville - Louella M. Kazlauskas, 90, of St. Johnsville passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
She was born September 26, 1930 in Little Falls, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Kurdenski) Mosher. Louella was educated in Little Falls schools.
Louella was first married to Louis Ponzi who preceded her in death. On June 13, 1970, Louella was united in marriage to Edmund J. Kazlauskas in St. Johnsville, NY. The couple shared a blessed union of 46 years until the passing of Edmund on June 17, 2016.
Mrs. Kazlauskas was last employed by Licari's Big M in St. Johnsville. Prior to that she worked for the New York State Thruway for 22 years.
As matriarch of the family, Louella centered her life around her loved ones, especially her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. With a strong faith in her polish catholic religion, she dedicated much of her time to her church. In her leisure she enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with Mya.
Survivors include her daughters; Louise Gray and her husband Larry of St. Johnsville, Mary Lou Heroth and her husband Harlan (Sonny) of Fort Plain and Kay Lynn Delano and her husband Raymond of Cold Brook, NY; a son, John Ponzi and his wife Cynthia of Texas; a son-in-law, Gene Colorito. She was predeceased by daughters, Marie Colorito, Mary Ann Ponzi and a son, David Mosher along with her parents, Charles and Anna Mosher. She cherished her grandchildren, Timothy, Nicholas and Shelby, Kyle and Lexi, Larry Jr. and Tina, Robin and Steve, Dwayne and Carol, Tammy and Jay, Anita and David, Gina and Tom, John Jr. and Erin, Joseph, Mary Ann and Joey, Hope, Chris and Janell. Great grandchildren, Chad and Amanda, Erika and Jared, Kreig and Rachel, Samantha and Jeremy, Brandi and Dave, David, Chase, Joey, Gianna, Jordan, Justin, Trey, Braylon, Lainey, Cooper, Brad, Kallie, Owen, Cameron, Zackary, Abby and Connor. Great-great grandchildren; Ava, Sophie, Barrett, Harlan, Connor, Callen and Camden. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, special neighbors, special friends Linda, Chevy, Stella, Pat and her bestie Mya.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 11:00 am until 12:45 pm at Vincent A Enea Funeral Service (next to Masonic lodge), 20 Bridge Street, St. Johnsville, NY. At the request of the family, facemask and only 15 at a time will be allowed in to pay their respects to the family. A prayer service and burial for Louella and Edmund Kazlauskas will take place following the visitation at St. Johnsville Cemetery with Rev. Rafal Dadello, officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to S.A.V.A.C., 14 Washington St., St. Johnsville, NY 13452. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
