Lisa Stahl Obituary

Little Falls - Lisa M. Stahl, 60, of the Town of Little Falls, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026, at her home, with the love and support of her family and friends by her side.

She was born on September 8, 1965, in Cortland, NY, the daughter of the late William and Wanda (Kast) Parmon. Lisa was a graduate of Little Falls High School, Class of 1983, and attended Cosmetology classes at BOCES.

On August 17, 1991, Lisa was united in marriage to David Stahl at the First Baptist Church in Little Falls, NY.

For 43 years, Lisa was the owner and operator of Golden Touch Unisex Salon in Herkimer.

Lisa was a loving and caring wife and sister, who always put the needs and concerns of her loved ones first. She enjoyed being around people and valued the visits and friendships she developed with her customers over the years. In her leisure time, Lisa enjoyed her home and making sure it was meticulously kept. She enjoyed the annual planting of her flower gardens and keeping her lawn mowed. When she took a break from mowing, she rested and watched her favorite soap opera, General Hospital, with her cat, Newton, curled up on her lap. She and David were active in attending the NHRA Drag Racing events. They also participated in Martial Arts where she obtained her Blue Belt. She had a love for all things glamorous, especially jewelry and never missed an opportunity to get dressed up in her bling flipflops. She enjoyed traveling to her sunshine destinations to soak up the sun. Most of all, at the end of the day, she and David enjoyed their precious time relaxing together.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, David; a sister, Lori A. Brooks and husband Tom; a brother, William S. Parmon and wife Valerie and their children, Faith Parmon and Scott Parmon; her mother-in-law, Donna Polnak and husband Joe; sister-in-law, Jackie Van Slyke and husband Tony, and brother-in-law, Charlie Stahl and wife Michele and Timothy Stahl; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1 - 3 pm at the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (next to Hannaford Markets) 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY. A prayer service will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev.
