Town of Herkimer - Josephine G. (Josie) Russell, 81, beloved wife of the late Charles A. Russell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Abraham House, Utica, NY.
She is survived by her sisters, Margery Gee and Amy Ellsworth; stepchildren, Rene Russell, Scott Russell and wife Colleen, and Rachel Steele and husband Jeffrey, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Josie was pre-deceased by her brother, Carl Greene.
In keeping with Josie's wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
