Obituary
Little Falls - Joseph A. Rounds, 40, a long time Little Falls resident, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2023.
He was born on March 8, 1982, in Little Falls the son of Mabel I. (Carr) Rounds and the late Alfred D. Rounds. Joe was educated in Little Falls and had attended Herkimer County Community College.
Joe was employed as a farm hand working on many local farms, lastly the Spatto Farm. He was a hard worker who was always proud of the work he did. The family would like to thank Diane and Jim Spatto for everything they have done for Joe the last few months.
Survivors include his mother, Mabel of Little Falls; daughter, Alexis L. Rounds; son, Anthony J. Rounds: a brother, Albert Rounds and Jodi Rae Lagodich; six sisters; Vicky (Calvin) Lang, Barbara Rounds and Wayne Harrington, Valerie (Robert) Prusky; Amy Rounds and Shawn Kane, Elizabeth (William) Smith and Amanda (Chad) Grower; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by a son, Andrew Joseph Rounds; sister, Patricia Rounds; brothers, Robert and Matthew Rounds; and a nephew, Michael Lang.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 5 to 6 pm at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY. A prayer service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home chapel. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in the town of Herkimer will be held privately at a later date.
