Little Falls - Johnny D. Wratten, 31, of Little Falls, passed away on Monday July 12, 2021.

He was born April 27, 1990 in the son of Johnny and Lynda (McKusick) Wratten. Johnny was a graduate of Little Falls High School, class of 2008 and furthered his education at Alfred State, and finally at SUNY Oswego where he and graduated and received a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management.

Johnny started his working career at TWA Construction Management from 2012 to 2021. In April of this year he attained his dream job as the Construction Manager at SUNY Cobleskill.

Johnny excelled at just about anything he did, including his achievements as an impressive wrestler with the fastest pin, tied for most pins, making it to States, as well as a talented pole vaulter, where he still holds the record for highest vault 13’3”.

The only thing larger than Johnny's personality was his heart. His kindness and love had no boundaries to his family. His family and friends were his world. Johnny was a loving and devoted father to his two children who were the light of his life. He loved snowmobiling and riding his four-wheeler with them as well as the rest of his family and friends.

Johnny was a compassionate and charismatic person, who loved to make people happy. His smile lit up a room and everyone that was around him. Johnny was a caring and devoted person and friend who never wanted to hurt anyone. His goal in life was always to calm people down and make them smile.

He is survived by his loving parents, Lynda and Johnny Wratten; his adorable children, Mila Jean Wratten and Johnny D. Wratten, III; his sister, Nikki Buell and her partner, Jason Pohleven; his grandmother, Ethel McKusick; aunts and uncles, Beth and Garth Rice, John McKusick, Joyce and Tom Whitcomb, and their children, Scott (Liz) Chrisman, Jennifer (John), Katie Whitcomb (Brenden Kovits) and Paige Whitcomb (Travis Dawley); Dean and Jenna Wratten, and Todd Wratten; the mother of Johnny's children, Jordyan Mueller and her parents, Jim and Judy Mueller and her sister, Jovanna Mueller and many cousins.

He was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Charles T. McKusick, III on September 4, 2020, Lyle Wilbert on April 16, 2014 and Sandra F. Wilbert on June 25, 2021.

The family will be setting up a fund for Johnny’s two children. Any donations could be sent to 165 Johnnycake Rd, Mohawk, NY 13407 and would be greatly appreciated.

In keeping with the family's wishes, funeral services will be private and held at their convenience. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 E. Albany St.,  Herkimer, NY.
