South Carolina - John Patrick (Jack) Sanguine, 74, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and a former St. Johnsville resident, passed away on Thursday January 14, 2021 in South Carolina.

He was born August 15, 1946 in Little Falls, NY the son of the late John P. Sanguine and Gertrude (Smith) Sanguine Nourse. John was a 1965 graduate of St. Johnsville High School.

In early years John was an Athletic Director and Coach for basketball, baseball, and tennis at Vista Del Mar in California. Later, John was a salesman for the Vantine Studios out of Hamilton, NY.

John was a man who loved to travel the states and found great joy in being at the ocean. He made many special memories traveling with his brother Michael for the last 18 years while he was his caretaker. An athlete in multiple sports in his younger years John enjoyed running. He completed ten, 26 mile marathons throughout his running career.

Survivors include his daughter, Jaclyn (Jackie) Moore and husband Nick of Ilion; four sons, Matt Sanguine of Florida, Mike Sanguine and wife Lindsay of Florida, John Sanguine and wife Frankie of Arizona and Brandon Sanguine of Florida; his grand children, Danielle, Savannah & Nicholas Moore (Ilion), Dominic, Angelina, Alejandro(Florida), Alayna and Sophia(Florida), Nolan, Ella, Brandyn, Elizabeth & Emersyn Sanguine(Arizona), and Delano Sanguine; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Sandy Galusha, and two brothers, Michael and Ronald Sanguine.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 3:00 pm at West St. Johnsville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
