Jeffrey S. Reed

Ilion - Jeffrey S. Reed, 63, of Ilion and a former Mohawk resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Little Falls Hospital.

He was born on October 13, 1959, in Herkimer the son of the late Ralph E. and Maude E. (Martin) Reed, Sr., and was educated in Little Falls.

For many years, Jeff was employed at Wal-Mart in Herkimer. Prior to that he was employed at the former K Mart in Herkimer.

Survivors include his sisters, Debbie L. Lockner of Ilion, and Barbara A. Collin and husband Michael of Little Falls; brothers, Ralph E. Reed, Jr. and Laurie Looman of Utica, Steve M. Reed and wife Winona of Ilion and David J. Reed and Hope Gray of Little Falls; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E, Albany St., Herkimer, NY. A prayer service will follow at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family.
