Herkimer - Jeffrey N. Crozier, 59, a long time Herkimer resident, passed away peacefully from a long battle with diabetes on Wednesday August 11, 2021.

 He was born January 22, 1962 in Herkimer, the son of the late Norman and Patricia (Bush) Crozier. Jeff was a graduate of Herkimer High School, class of 1980.

 Jeff was last employed at Remington Arms, retiring in 1998 due to medical reasons. At one time he worked at the Martin Marietta, the former General Electric in Utica and the former Chicago Markets in Herkimer.

 After his retirement, Jeff kept himself busy by having several little projects in and around his home. He enjoyed keeping busy and active. You would often find him tinkering in his garage or visiting with his neighbors. He spent time taking care of the birds which he enjoyed watching from the deck.

 Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Pope and her husband Bill of Ilion; his girlfriend, Robin Jaquish of Rome; three grandchildren, Zackary Pope, Alexa Pope and Trenten Pope all of Ilion; two brothers, Scott Crozier and his wife Patti of Oppenheim and Richard Crozier and his wife Cindy of Ilion; a sister, Shelly Shipman and her husband Don of Texas; and an Aunt; Diana Bush of Rotterdam, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 He was pre-deceased by a niece, Marissa Brigham; an Uncle Richard Bush; three Aunt; Marilyn Bush, Dorothy (John) Lamp, Betty Jean (James) Morrisey and a cousin Michael Lamp.

 Funeral services for Jeff will take place on Tuesday August 17, 2021, at 10:00 am from the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY. Burial will follow at Fort Plain Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his mother and grandparents. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday August 16, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

 All memorial contributions may be made to either the Herkimer Fire Department, 125 N. Washington St., Herkimer, NY 13350 or to the Herkimer Humane Society, 514 State Route 5s, Mohawk, NY 13407. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
