Jeanette (Colwell) Clapper

Little Falls - Jeanette Clapper, 76, a lifelong Little Falls resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Little Falls Hospital.

She was born on December 28, 1947, in Little Falls the daughter of the late Edward G. and Henrietta (O'Mara) Colwell and was educated at St. Mary's Academy in Little Falls.

For many years Jeanette, worked in the housekeeping department of the former Best Western in Little Falls, NY.

Jeanette was a loving and caring mother and sister. She found much happiness when she was surrounded by her sons and her sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Kalen Clapper and Daniel Clapper; her twin sister, Jeanne Murphy and husband William; two granddaughters, Kyra (Clapper) Mansour and Shannon Clapper; her great grandson, François Mansour; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Ellen Tomei, Sarah Nobile and Sue Ann Colwell.

In keeping with Jeanette's wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. A celebration of her life will be held at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
