St. Johnsville - Jaxson William Smith, 32, a lifelong St. Johnsville resident passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 31, 2024.
He was born on December 4, 1991, in Amsterdam, NY the son of Dennis Smith and Kimberly (LaCoppola) Shestok. Jaxson was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, class of 2010.
Jaxson was last employed at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Johnstown, NY.
Jaxson was a loving and caring father, son, and brother who always put the needs and concerns of his family first. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed all types of outdoor activities.
Survivors include his mother, Kimberly Shestok and husband Mike; father, Dennis Smith; the mother of his children, Jackie Priddle; twin daughters, Leilah Marie and Lorelai Anne Smith; a son, Noah Smith; two sisters, Cameron Smith and fiancée Shayne Hinkle and Rylie Smith and fiancée Zack Williams; two brothers, Dennis Smith and Anthony Smith and fiancée Janelle Farina; nieces and nephews, Mariah, Ali, Raegan and Brody; Aunts and Uncles, Robyn Cutspec, Kelly LaCoppola, Matthew LaCoppola, Angela and Bob Barhydt, Stephen and Lisa LaCoppola, Chris and Denise LaCoppola, Robert, Smith, Richard Smith, Donald Smith, Deb Smith, Donna, Edie, Judy, Jill and many cousins.
He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandparents, Anthony and Josephine LaCoppola, paternal grandparents, Jeanette and Robert C Smith and an uncle, William Cutspec.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 10 - 12 noon at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY. A catholic prayer service will follow at 12:00 noon in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Kenneth Swain officiating. Burial will follow at St. Johnsville Cemetery.
