Obituary

Town of Oppenheim - Janice Card, 79, of St. Johnsville (Town of Oppenheim) passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2023, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born on October 26, 1943, in Schenectady, NY the daughter of Richard and Jean (Whalen) White and was a graduate of Colonie High School.

She is married to Leroy Card.

Janice was once employed at various law firms in the Schenectady area.

A woman devoted to her family, Janice enjoyed the quality time she spent with her family and her faithful bird. She enjoyed collecting all types of frog ornamentation, camping, canning pickles and going for rides in the country.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy;  a daughter, Deborah Bell; sons, LeRoy Card, Thomas (Marilyn) Card and Robert (Laura) Card; her grandchildren, Elyse, Robert, Jason, Kacie and Thomas Card; nine great grandchildren, and many cousins, including Annette, Wendy and Daniel.

In keeping with Janice's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
