St. Johnsville – Janet B. Livingston, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on July 11, 1933, in Fort Plain, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Barbara Keller and was a graduate of Canajoharie High School.
In 1952, she married John (Jack) Livingston of St. Johnsville. Mr. Livingston passed away in 2012.
Janet became a cosmetologist and ran a successful business for 35 years.
She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Her life was devoted to her family. Janet along with her husband, Jack enjoyed riding motorcycles and later in life enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include her children, Cynthia Dodson of St. Johnsville, Jacqueline Livingston of St. Johnsville and John Livingston and Sharon Davis of the Town of Caroga; a brother, Ronald Keller of Colorado; her grandchildren, Stephanie Dodson, Shawn Livingston, Donald Dodson, and Randall Dodson; 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a son-in-law, Donald Dodson.
In keeping with Janet’s wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY 518-568-7040.
