Gwendolyn F. Andrewski

St. Johnsville - Gwendolyn F. (Gwen) Andrewski, 78, a long time St. Johnsville resident,

passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at the Wells Nursing Home.

 She was born May 15, 1943 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Matthew Steven and Alberta (Nellis) Skrzek. Gwen was educated locally and received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

 She was last employed at the Palatine Nursing Home as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

 Survivors include her son, Stephen Backus and wife Anna of St. Johnsville; and her grandson, Gunnar Backus. 

She was pre-deceased by her son, Timothy Cornman and a sister, Sally Nellis.

In keeping with Gwen's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
