Gary C. Sponable

Latham/Little Falls - Gary C. Sponable, 80, of Little Falls passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the home of his daughter, Melissa in Latham, NY.

 He was born on July 10, 1942, in Little Falls, NY the son of the late Elmer and Madeline (Garlock) Sponable and was educated in St. Johnsville schools.

 For over 38, years, Gary was employed at Little Falls Hospital in the Maintenance Department.

 Gary was a devoted and caring father and brother. He always put the needs of his loved ones first. He also enjoyed having a coffee with his friends at the local Stewarts.

 Survivors include his beloved daughter, Melissa Zawtocki and husband Greg of Latham, his sister, Diana Dutcher and husband James of St. Johnsville; and many friends.

 In keeping with Gary's wishes, funeral services and burial at Ephratah Rural Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
