Elaine G. Perkins

New Hartford, NY - Elaine G. Perkins, 68 of New Hartford and formerly of Dolgeville passed away peacefully on Saturday May 9, 2020 at St. Luke's Medical Center, New Hartford, NY.

She was born September 20, 1951 in Little Falls the daughter of the Carol (Vanish) Perkins and the late Howard L. Perkins. Elaine was a graduate of Dolgeville High School, class of 1969 and furthered her education at Utica College, graduating in 1973.

Ms. Perkins was last employed as the manager of Valley Telephone Exchange in Herkimer.

Elaine's life was centered around her family, proving her self a loving and caring daughter, sister and companion. She enjoyed being around people and treasured the times she worked at various local carnivals. She found much relaxation working on her arts and crafts.

Survivors include her mother, Carol of Little Falls; her companion, John Jay Sprague of New Hartford; and a sister, Lisa Waller and husband Steven of Otego.

In keeping with Elaine's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
