Elaine Marlitt

St. Johnsville - Elaine Marlitt, 66, of St. Johnsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born on September 6, 1956, in Gloversville the daughter of the late Mario and Dorothy (Phillips) Ciani and was educated in Gloversville Schools.

For many years, Elaine worked for the Leader Herald Newspaper in Gloversville.

She is survived by her loving family; daughters, Tammy Buettner, Mary Ann Vosburgh and fiancé Peter Shipman, Theresa Duffek and husband Kenneth, her son, Allen Vosburgh and fiancé Lori Filkins; her 17 grandchildren and her great grandchildren. 

In keeping with Elaine's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY. There will be a private celebration of life held for her on Aug 5th from 1-4 at her daughters’ house to get the address reach out to either her daughter Theresa, son Allen or Lori.
