Dorraine R. (Youker) Eckard

Fort Plain - Dorraine R. (Dori) Eckard, 61, of Fort Plain, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at her home, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on August 4, 1964, in Herkimer, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Alberta (Maine) Youker. Dorraine was a graduate of Frankfort-Schuyler High School.

She was married to Mark Eckard.

Dori was last employed at GPO Federal Credit Union in Ilion, NY.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mark; a daughter, Robyn Verri and husband Marc; A son, Joshua Eckard; three grandsons, Matthew, Nathan and Michael Verri; a sister, Desi Luft and husband Norbert; mother and father-in-law, Jacqueline and Robert A. Eckard of Little Falls; brother-in-law, Attorney Robert D. Eckard and wife Kammy of Clearwater Beach, Florida; nephew, Craton, and a niece Christiana.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Donald and David, and a sister, Yvonne.

In keeping with Dorraine’s wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St.  Johnsville, NY.
