Donald L. Biando

Herkimer - Donald L. Biando, 75, of Herkimer passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, with his devoted family by his side.

 He was born on May 11, 1947, in Brandon, NY the son of Peter Biando and the late Carmen (Eseltine) Biando and was educated in Frankfort Schools.

 For many years, Donald was employed at Poncell Construction, Utica, NY, where he lastly held the position of Foreman.

 Donald's life was centered around his family. He placed the needs and concerns of his children, grandchildren and siblings first. He enjoyed visiting with his friends. Donald will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

 Survivors include his father, Peter Biando of Frankfort; a daughter, Regina Biando of Herkimer; a son, Ryan Jaquish of Herkimer; a sister, Debra Foster and husband Eldon of Frankfort; two brothers, Leon Biando and wife Mary of Ontario, NY and James Biando of Manlius; his grandchildren, Carmen Mankouski, Mickayla Biando and MaeJean Bullock and husband Devin; his great grandchildren, Theodore, Dawson and Haisley Bullock; and several nieces and nephews.

 He was pre-deceased by two sons, Peter Biando on July 6, 2018, and Michael Biando on September 3, 2021, and a grandson, Joshua Biando on October 28, 1996.

 The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 6 - 7 pm at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.  Burial will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Stevens Cemetery, in Skerry, NY.
