Deborah S. Mosher

St. Johnsville - Deborah S. Mosher, 92, a longtime St. Johnsville resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with her loving family by her side.

 She was born on July 24, 1930, in Little Falls, NY the daughter of the late Edward Turpin and Emma (Miles) Heath. Debby was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, class of 1947.

 Debby was married to Richard E. Mosher on July 21, 1962, in Gardena, California. The couple shared a blessed union 40 years until the passing of Richard on May 6, 2002.

Debby ran a beauty shop out of her home for many years before moving to California. She also worked in the food service area from a school cafeteria cook to a cook in a nursing home. Lastly, she was owner and operator of the well-known Grandma Debby's restaurant in St. Johnsville.

 Debby's life was centered around her loved ones, she always put the needs and concerns of her family first. Debby enjoyed knitting, baking, puzzles, and playing "Chicken Foot" every Monday afternoon. Debby lived an amazing life especially when her husband Richard was by her side. She will be greatly missed.

 Survivors include her daughters, Glenna Capece and husband Victor of St. Johnsville and Nan DeNinno and husband Scott of St. Johnsville; five grandchildren, Sheila Snell (Randy), Shelley Arduini ( Christopher), Neil Clark (Christine), and Adam Clark (Rachel): 16 great grandchildren, Aj Hart, Allison Hart, Jade Thomas, Meadow Richardson (Justus), Lily Arduini, Brooke Arduini, Mason Snell, Sadie Snell, Logan Snell, LeAnn Clark, Brittney Clark, Connor Clark, Isaac Clark, Faith Clark, Milo Clark, and Noah Clark; four great great grandsons; Connor and Colton Hart, Kayne Hart and Matthew Dingman Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

 She was pre-deceased by her granddaughter, Sheri Roosevelt, and her sister, Barbara Shivka.

 A memorial service will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. John's Reformed Church in St. Johnsville. Burial will follow at West St. Johnsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make all memorial contributions to St. John's Reformed Church, 68 W. Main St., St. Johnsville, NY 13452. Envelopes will be available at the memorial service.
