Concetta Felice "Jetta" Foss

Boonville - Concetta Felice "Jetta" Foss, 68. passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Boonville, NY.

She was born on December 11, 1955, in Herkimer, the daughter of the late Fred and Theresa (Campagna) Foss and was educated locally.

Jetta was last employed as a Manager at Famous Foot Wear in New Hartford. Prior to that she had many business ventures including, Desperado Western Ware, and The Shoe Gallery.

She was a dancer from a very young age at Chris Eleanor Dance Studio, then continued her love of dance into adulthood. She taught Zumba, Pilates and line dancing. She and the Desperado Dance Club performed Herkimer County's longest line dance every year at Herkimer Days. Jetta and her Desperado partner taught over 1,000 people line dancing in the valley.

Jetta was a self-taught interior decorator. Her homes were magazine worthy. She also had a love of gardening and an eye for fashion.

Survivors include her sister Grace Blais and husband Rick of Mohawk; her nephews, Ricky Blais and Alicia Bernier of Mohawk, Cory Blais of Herkimer, Daniel Foss and Gabriella Sementilli of Herkimer, and Mike Rainone and Sandra of Long Island; great nephews, Elliott Foss and Luca Rainone; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Jetta’s cousin, Maureen Scerra and her friends Kathy Carpenter and Madelyne Waseleski the care they had shown to Jetta and her family over the years.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, a daughter, Blaise Radtke, a brother Kevin Foss and a sister-in-law, Patricia Foss.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 10:00 am at the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer, NY.
