Whitesboro - Christopher Lincoln Deming, 58, of Whitesboro, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side after losing his long battle with Cancer on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

He was born on February 28, 1967, in Utica, the son of the late William C. and Alice M. (Aiken) Deming. Chris was educated at Utica Free Academy.

Chris was a journeyman carpenter who enjoyed making custom cabinetry in his younger years. He was more recently employed as a Maintenance Mechanic at the Masonic Medical Research Lab in Utica.

Survivors include his wife, Bridget; a daughter, Caitlin, his brothers; Mark (Sheli), Keith (Tanya) and Tim (Gloria); in-laws; Dale (Charlie) Oldick, Branden Jaquays and Jennifer (Mike) DeCarlis and several nieces and nephews.

Chris would like to give a very special Thank You to Dr. Alicia Detraglia, Dr. Fayez F Chaffee, Dr. Michael Adranado DDS, and the staff at MVHS Regional Cancer Center for all of the love and care they selflessly provided over the years.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Chris’ name to the Animal Rescue group “Pause 4 All Paws” where his beloved cat Cricket was rescued from, or one of the local animal shelters where he rescued both his loyal dogs Leia and Boots.
