Ilion - Cheryl L. Fellone, 71, of West Main St., Ilion, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, NY.

 She was born October 1, 1950, in Utica, NY the daughter of the late Frank and Letha (Thompson) Amendola and was educated in the Whitesboro school district.

 Cheryl was married to Donald N. Fellone, Sr. who preceded her in death in 1993.

 For many years, Cheryl was employed at the Utica, Teachers Federal Credit Union, where she last held the position of Office Manager.

 As matriarch of her family, Cheryl's life was centered around the well-being of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and arts and crafts. Lately, Cheryl found much fascination with Facebook.  Cheryl was an avid animal lover. Her love and devotion for her 3 Pomeranians, Shadow, Gizmo and Bella was only matched by the love for her family.

 Survivors include her daughter, Candice Fellone and her fiancé Todd Nedrich; her sons, Robert J. Fellone and Donald N. Fellone, Jr. and girlfriend Amy; a brother Gerald Amendola; her grandchildren, Taylor M. Fellone, Shelby L. Fellone, Cara L. Fellone, Logan Soluri, and Kaylee Slouri; her great grandchildren, Noah Leigh, and Mia Leigh; and her boyfriend, James Murphy.

 In keeping with Cheryl's wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
