St. Johnsville - Chandler L. Bond, 93, of St. Johnsville and a former resident of Monroe, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Chandler was born on October 4, 1932, in Monroe, Connecticut, the son of the late Charles and Nellie (Northrop) Bond and was a graduate of Bridgeport High School in Connecticut.
For many years, Chandler was the owner and operator of the Bond Farm in Monroe, Connecticut.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Pamela Johnson of St. Johnsville; a son, Craig A. Bond of Connecticut; three grandchildren, Lane, Chandler, and Hailey Bond; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents, Chandler was predeceased by a sister, Constance Williams, and a brother, Sanford Bond.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Stepney Cemetery in Monroe, Connecticut. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
