Carol T. (Taylor) Raymond

Little Falls - Carol T. Raymond, 89, of the Town of Little Falls, passed away peacefully, a couple of weeks shy of 90, on Tuesday night, March 31, 2026, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, with the love and support of her family and friends by her side.

She was born on April 16, 1936, in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Charles S. and Lillian (Carr) Taylor. She was a graduate of Utica High School.

Carol was united in marriage to Robert C. Raymond, Sr., on May 8, 1954, at St. Patrick’s Church in Utica, NY. The couple shared a blessed union of 59 years until the passing of Robert on April 21, 2014.

Mrs. Raymond was employed at the former MDS in East Herkimer until the company closed. She then worked next as a data processor at Scheidelmans in Utica. Carol finished her working tenure as an aide for the Herkimer School Bus System.

Carol was a loving and caring matriarch of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carol and her husband Bob, loved to travel and was partial to the coast of Maine, where they enjoyed the seafood cuisine.

She is survived by her son, Robert C. Raymond, Jr. and wife Tracy of Liverpool, NY; her daughters, Donna Subia and husband Larry of Houston, Texas and Sherri Sales and husband Thomas of Laguna Niguel, California; her grandchildren, Marilena Luera and husband Michael, Jeniferr Berryhill and husband Bob, Alex Sales and his wife Caitlyn, Courtney Sales, and Tyler Raymond and Noah Raymond, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her name will be remembered through her best friends, Karen Schrader and Palma Moore.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish, Main Street, Little Falls, NY, with Rev. Brian Slezak, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer, NY. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
