Carol Klock Obituary

Herkimer - Carol M. Klock, 85, a longtime Herkimer resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the home of her son, Jeff, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on November 16, 1939, in Malone, NY, the daughter of the late Elmer and Mildred (Bigness) Perry. Carol was educated in Malone and Herkimer schools and was a graduate of Herkimer High School.

Her marriage to James K. Klock took place on April 4, 1959, at St. Francis de Sales Church in Herkimer, NY. The couple shared a blessed union of 33 years until the passing of James on March 1, 1993.

Mrs. Klock was of the Catholic faith.

Carol’s life was centered around her loving and devoted family. She valued the quality time she spent with her granddaughters and enjoyed visiting with her neighbors.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Klock, and wife, Kimberly; two granddaughters, Jennifer Klock and husband, Eric Constable and Jaymie Klock and fiancé, Collin Sickler; a brother, Bruce Perry; a sister-in-law, Mary Perry; and many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Julie Ann Klock - Day; a sister, Elaine Garand; and three brothers, Douglas, Bryan and Albert Perry.

In keeping with Carol’s wishes, burial at Calvary Cemetery, will be private and held at the convenience of her family. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 2 - 5 pm at the home of her son, Jeffrey Klock, 512 Malcolm St. Herkimer, NY. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
