Caleb J. Hall

Fort Plain - Caleb James Hall, 59, of Fort Plain (Town of Danube), passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY with his devoted family by his side.

He was born on October 30, 1963, in Little Falls, the son of Marguerite (Hoke) Hall and the late Donald Hall. Caleb was educated in Owen D. Young Schools.

Caleb was working with his sister, Roseann logging trees.

Survivors include his fiancée, Shannon Coope; a daughter, Jessica Hall; three sons, Caleb Hall and wife Rachael, Jesse Hall and Shania, and Jeremiah Hall; eight grandchildren, Meghan, Ava, Nayce, Everly, Lance, Logan, Daniel, Jaxson and his ninth expected soon; a great grandson, Grayson; six sisters, Donna Knouph, Robin Stritmater, Ella Warn, Patricia Paul, Carole Holleran and Roseann Wicks; two brothers, Jack Hall and Daniel Hall; several nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins.

He was pre-deceased by his father, a sister, Lorraine Hall - Ortiz, and two brothers, Thomas and Arthur Hall.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY. A prayer service will follow at 1:00 pm at the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mohawk Cemetery, in the village. A celebration of Caleb's life will follow after the services at the cemetery at the home of his sister, Roseann Wicks at 1016 Phillips Road, Fort Plain, NY.
