Herkimer - Bryan F. Perry, 73, of Herkimer, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Albany Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
He was born on December 3, 1949, in Malone, NY the son of the late Elmer and Mildred (Bigness) Perry and was a graduate of Herkimer High School.
Bryan was united in marriage to Rosalyn (Lyn) Lopez on July 17, 1971, at Our Lady of Miraculous Hope Church in Los Angeles, California. They shared a blessed union of 51 years until the passing of Lyn on January 16, 2023.
While in the United States Marine Corps, he was a Gunnery Sergeant, with a career spanning over 20 years. His tours of duty have included Corpus Christi, Texas, Camp Pendleton, Tustin Helicopter Station, Okinawa, Japan and New York. His last tour of duty at Treasure Island, near San Francisco, California.
Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Villacorta and husband Germán, Jacqueline Tero and husband David and Lori Osterhoudt and husband Michael; his grandchildren, Isabel Villacorta, Alana Schappi, Steven Osterhoudt, David Perry and Leo Osterhoudt; his sister, Carol Klock; his brothers, Albert Perry and Bruce Perry; in-laws, Mary Perry, Arcelia Lopez and Armando and Martha Lopez; and several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his sister, Elaine Garand, brother, Douglas Perry and brother-in-law, James Klock.
In keeping with Bryan's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
Bryan was a loving, husband father and papa. Rest in peace in God's hands and comfort us in our time of grief. With your passing, you are once again united with your love, Lyn.
